Our Premium Digestive formula also contains a specific but highly beneficial protease called bromelain derived from the pineapple stem. Bromelain has shown promise against gut inflammation such as that observed in inflammatory bowel disease.  Experts report that the enzyme may lower the production of inflammation-promoting substances in inflamed tissues. More importantly, bromelain displays a potential to fight cancer. Bromelain has been shown to shrink the size and selectively induce death of tumor cells by upregulating tumor-suppressing proteins. 
We have integrated a highly useful and unique enzyme called aspergillopepsin by extracting it from a fungus named Aspergillus niger. This enzyme tends to promote the digestion of one of the hard-to-digest dietary proteins called gluten. Therefore, our Premium Digestive Formula may benefit people suffering from gluten insensitivities.  We do, however, recommend, talking to your doctor before introducing any kind of supplement.
Cellulase catalyzes the breakdown of the complex carbohydrate named cellulose into a simple key sugar called glucose. Cellulose is the key component of the plant cell wall, which is ingested via a plant-based diet. Our body does not produce the cellulase enzyme required to digest cellulose. Instead, the bacteria residing in our large intestine ferment and break a small fraction of cellulose with a major bulk flushed out in the stool as it is. This fermentation process produces gases like carbon dioxide, causing abdominal pain, gas, bloating, and belching. Cellulase in our Premium Digestive formula can split the undigested cellulose, which in turn, prevents abdominal discomfort associated with the intake of plant-based diet.  Moreover, the glucose derived from the breakdown of cellulose serves as the major source to fuel your body.
This enzyme, as the name implies, releases beta-glucose from the ends of complex dietary starch.  The freed glucose can then be utilized as a source of energy for the body. The starch occurs in abundant amounts in foods like potatoes, rice, corn, and wheat. By accelerating the digestion of difficult-to-digest starchy food products,  glucoamylase can help take off the load from your digestive system, which can otherwise lead to common digestive issues like bloating, cramps, gas, and loose stools.
Another known benefit of glucoamylase is in stabilizing the blood sugar levels. The studies, however, have been mostly conducted in animals.
Invertase is an enzyme derived from yeast as well as naturally produced by bees. It functions to split the common table sugar (sucrose) into two constituents, namely glucose and fructose. Invertase, therefore, provides the major fuel for your body plus it is shown to boost the immune system too.  Also known, is its ability to scavenge free radicals ̶ it is a potent antioxidant ̶ and can thus, prevent several ailments.
This enzyme hydrolyzes complex carbohydrates linked to proteins or fats (known as glycoproteins or glycolipids), which are difficult to be broken down in the gut. The intestinal bacteria, thus, ferment them, producing gas. By promoting the digestion of these food particles, alpha-galactosidase can significantly curtail gas production and the gas-related symptoms such as bloating, flatus, and cramps.
In an Italian study, α-galactosidase was capable of a minimizing the gas production and the associated intestinal discomfort following a meal rich in fermentable carbohydrates. 
Pectinases are a group of enzymes that break down pectin, a complex gelatinous carbohydrate found in citrus fruits and fruit spreads like jellies and jams. By splitting these food products into more soluble ingredients, pectinase can optimize their nutritional value. 
Xylanases are enzymes that cleave the backbone of the complex plant cell wall component, xylan, which is a hemicellulosic constituent of certain soft and hard foods. Xylanase optimizes the digestion of plant-based foods, thereby augmenting the availability of nutrients.
Phytase is an enzyme that catalyzes the breakdown of phytic acid ̶ an indigestible substance present in plant seeds and grains ̶ and releases phosphorus ̶ an essential mineral that is required for the strength of bones and teeth. This mineral also partakes in several other body functions like contraction of muscles including the heart and filtering out of toxins and waste via the kidneys.  The presence of phytase in our Premium Digestive supplement can thus, help prevent toxic build-up in your system.
In addition, phytic acid is considered to be an anti-nutritional compound that reduces nutrient availability. By breaking down this compound as soon as it enters the gut, phytase may help enhance nutrient availability. 
Papain, extracted from the fruit of the papaya tree, offers a wide spectrum of health benefits. It can:
